| I was just thinking about this episode so I went to this link on wikipedia to see all the episodes of DuckTales:

The one I'm talking about is the one that aired April 1st, 1990.
Here is the synopsis: "In order to receive their allowances ahead of time so they can buy a new scooter, the nephews trick Scrooge into believing it's Saturday instead of Friday, resulting in mass confusion worldwide."
Since Scrooge thinks that it's Sat, he's powerful enough that people listen to him. All the deadlines on Friday were already missed and he gets upset and people freak out and etc.

| My team got together. They all volunteered. It's not a Sunday and there is a quick 1 hour and 1/2 rehearsal before we get on.
It's one of their bday's today. Be he will serve us anyways, because that is his character. =)
I asked one to help with slides 5 min b4 we needed it.
I asked the pianist to do a tricky solo cause I couldn't do it.
I asked one to translate for me since I can't speak Chinese.
I asked one to play bass after a 10k run and a bum leg and little sleep.
I asked one to play drums even though he's drumming tomorrow morning.
My team is the bestest. They did awesome tonight. And I'm not just saying that. I'm going to sleep happy =) Good night!

260 - 10 holidays = 250 - 15 vacation days = 235 days that I need to commute to work.
My commute = 10 min. a day
235 times I need to commute x 10 min = 2350 minutes of commute time in 1 year
2350 / 60 = 39.16 hours = < 2 days a year.
Only those that work from home have a better commute. =) |
